On October 5th, WiCS hosted DivHacks, Columbia’s annual diversity hackathon! This year’s DivHacks theme was Education for All. Students worked on projects geared towards enhancing the accessibility of academic resources for local communities. We had the highest turnout and most submitted hacks in the history of DivHacks! Our unprecedented success is all thanks to our wonderful hosts (Computer Science at Barnard College, Vagelos Computational Science Center at Barnard College), sponsors (Two Sigma and N26), keynote speaker (Emily Denton), judges, and workshop leaders.
